O, Oprah Magazine Papercuts
The lovely people at Oprah magazine commissioned Mr Yen to create a series of delicate and detailed botanical paper cut pieces to feature in an editorial story for the
Valentines edition of "O" - the Oprah magazine that was released in February 2013.
Mr Yen created the main paper cut image for the title of the editorial which consisted of a varying range of botanical elements arranged in an organic circular design,
leaving space for the story title to be written. Mr Yen also created a delicate paper cut napkin ring design, several tiny botanical silhouettes for decoration of paper cone
favors, a 3D typographic menu to display the food for the event and all of the paper cut pieces running throughout the feature - such as the paper cut feathers and the
title pieces for the food in the written editorial sections.
